The building was originally built in 1915 as a lung disease sanatorium, which was already converted into a kindergarten in the 50s. At the beginning of the project, a building history survey was conducted.

The City Museum was involved in the implementation planning. The building was treated like a conservation building, even though there was no conservation designation in the old plan.
